 Pricing FAQs

  • You can pay using PayPal, Venmo, or cash ($USD).

  • You will pay me twice during the comission process.

After I view your interest form response (see Contact Me), I will reply to you via email within 3-5 business days to discuss your ideas further. When I accept your commission, I will confirm the price and ask you to pay half of the total amount. This is a nonrefundable deposit due within one week (7 calendar days) of the confirmation email date. Once I receive this first payment, I will begin working on the artwork and send sketches for your approval. We will stay in touch as I continue working. When the project is complete, I will ask for the remaining amount. Receiving your finished artwork is dependent on this final payment - the sooner you send it, the sooner you will have your final images.

This two-part policy protects my time and energy as well as yours, and allows flexibility if you cannot afford the full price upfront.

  • It depends!

If you want a smaller and simpler piece (such as a black and white sketch) then expect a quick turnaround time. For more detailed and complex drawings (such as a large full color illustrations) then it will take much longer to complete.

Another important factor is patron collaboration. This is art made specially for you therefore your opinions matters! I view commissions as conversations and want to include you throughout the artistic process. Here’s how it will go:

    1. I will respond to your interest form (see Contact Me) within 3-5 business days to continue discussing your ideas, review initial sketches, and set an estimated timeline - this could take an hour or several days, depending on the project complexity and prompt replies.

    2. After the commission is confirmed, you have one week (7 calendar days) to send the first payment. I will continue working on the artwork only after this money is received. Any complication or delay in this transaction will extend the final deadline.

    3. When the artwork is about halfway done, I will send you an update with a work-in-progress preview. If you want minor changes or extra elements added at this point, we can discuss it and I will incorporate your feedback to the best of my ability, however it may also increase the final price and/or extend the final deadline.

    4. When the artwork is complete, I will request the second/final payment. You will be sent the finished images only after this remaining money is received. Like before, any issues with this transaction means it will take longer to enjoy your art.

This back-and-forth system of communication takes time and relies on your involvement - the more you are invested in the outcome, the sooner you will get results. I am fairly flexible to accommodate various schedules, but please be honest if you have an exact delivery date in mind (e.g. birthday, anniversary, exhibit opening, product presentation/proposal). If I do not feel I have enough time to produce quality work, I will decline your commission. For large projects, please contact me at least 1-2 months in advance.

  • If the artwork is digital, you will be sent the final images through email as PNG or JPEG files. If it is a print or other physical piece of art, we will work out the details of delivery at the time of commissioning (it can be mailed to you for an additional fee or if you are local, we can arrange an in-person meetup).

  • No, I do not have any premade drawings, artwork, or illustrations for purchase. Commissions are personal, tailored to the unique preferences of each individual patron - I work by demand only. If you would like to support me and my art, I will be happy to make something original for you, but there is no catalog to choose from.

  • Yes! You can Buy Me a Coffee at Ko-fi or pay cash during an in-person meeting. Tips are appreciated but not required.

Have another idea in mind?

Note: I reserve the right to refuse a commission without explanation. While each request is considered on an individual basis, my art is not an endorsement or seal of approval. I am open to collaboration with other artists on projects, but be aware I create with my personal conscious and professional career in mind. I may also cancel a commission (even after initial deposit) due to disrespect, harassment, and/or lack of communication with the patron - your positive participation is a required so act accordingly.
